Lisa Leitl has been a mindfulness practitioner for over 30 years now. Along with her continued studies in mindfulness, she has received certification in Contemplative Care from the University of Arizona.

Lisa began using her mindfulness training as a tool to help refocus groups experiencing brain changes as a way to create calm and peace. Studies suggest that mindfulness practice can be a beneficial non-drug treatment to slow the progression of the disease and increase quality of life in those with early-stage dementia. Lisa also uses mindfulness practices while facilitating care partner support groups as a tool to help them manage their daily stress and anxiety.
Lisa has been successfully facilitating online mindfulness practice groups and enjoys sharing the many benefits of daily practice.
